DDI Group and Cherish-Yearn Group Signed a Cooperation Agreement on Joyful City Project
On April 17, 2019, DDI Group and Cherish-Yearn Group signed a cooperation agreement on Joyful City CCRC project.

As one of the founders of China’s CCRC membership system and the first brand to complete the CCRC operation closed-loop, Cherish-Yearn Group is the best partner for DDI to enter the pension industry.
At the invitation of Mr. LI Hailin, Chairman of DDI Group, Mr. XI Zhiyong, Chairman of Cherish-Yearn Group and his team made several field visits and highly recognized the prospect of Joyful City CCRC project in Changxing Island.
As members of Center for Urban Research and Action (CURA), both sides adhere to sincere cooperation. On basis of the long-term development of the Project and the exclusive experience of the elderly members, an innovative cooperation mode finally contributed to this cooperation after several rounds of negotiation. In the future, both sides will make full use of their respective resource advantages, seize the opportunities in the pension market, and forge ahead in the blue ocean of China’s pension industry.

A world-class residence on an ecological island
As one of the “Three Chongming Islands”, Changxing Island is closest to the downtown area of Shanghai, known as “Home of Tangerine” and “Island of Longevity”. According to China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, it will be built into a “world-class ecological island”.
With a total construction area of about 100,000 square meters, Joyful City CCRC consists of 782 dynamic elderly apartments, a detached maintenance house of over 200 beds and an integrated club.
The community is built along the water and enjoys the view of the municipal park, with mature surrounding communities and convenient living facilities. The above-ground buildings are enclosed, with a large and complete courtyard in the center, creating a kind of leisurely experience as “island owner”.
The project experience center is expected to be opened by the end of next year.
